Any participation in events or contests that involve entry fees, in-app currency (ClipChips), or result in rewards is based solely on user skill, creativity, and public engagement metrics such as ratings. All rewards are determined by user-generated content performance, not chance or luck. This app operates as a talent-based competition platform in full compliance with applicable child protection and data privacy laws.

This Privacy Policy explains how the app ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application ("the App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

• Purchase history of ClipChips (in-app currency)

• ClipChip balance and usage history

• Consent verification related to ClipChip purchases (for users under 18)

ClipChips are used solely for accessing in-app features and have no monetary value outside the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and manage your user account

• Enable you to upload and view videos

• Facilitate participation in events and contests

• Manage ClipChip purchases and balances

• Process payments (via third-party providers)

• Monitor app usage and improve the service

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share your information with:

• Firebase Services (Google): Authentication, Analytics and Firestore.

• Cloudflare Stream: for secure hosting and playback of user-uploaded videos.

• Payment processors: such as Google Play Billing and Apple In-App Purchase. Please note that we do not process or store any payment card details directly; all transactions are handled securely by these third-party app store providers.

• Email service providers: such as SendGrid to send verification and parental consent emails and all other necessary communications.

• Law enforcement: if legally required.

4. Children’s Privacy

Legal Disclaimer: we are fully committed to protecting the rights and safety of children. We operate in full compliance with international child protection laws including the GDPR (for users in the EEA and UK), COPPA (in the U.S.), and similar global regulations. The App is not a gambling or chance-based application. All participation is based on user skill, talent, and the transparent public rating of content. There are no random rewards, betting mechanisms, or algorithms of chance involved in any user outcome or reward. All ClipChip purchases are optional and used strictly for feature unlocking without affecting the chances of success. Parental consent is mandatory under the age of 18 and must be verified before any data is processed or purchase is permitted.

We allow children under the age of 18 to use the app only with verifiable parental or guardian consent.

If you are under 18, you are required to provide a parent or guardian’s email address during registration. We will contact them to obtain verifiable consent before finalizing your account.

For users under 18, any attempt to make a purchase within the app (including ClipChips) will trigger a separate parental consent request sent to the same email address.

We may allow users under the age of 13, provided that full parental consent has been obtained in compliance with applicable privacy laws. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected information from a child without proper consent, please contact us immediately.

Parental consent includes the ability to monitor and revoke their child’s access at any time by contacting us.

5. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:

• Secure connections (HTTPS)

• Restricted access to databases

• Compliance with Firebase’s and Cloudflare’s security standards

Your personal and account-related data is stored on Firebase servers. Videos uploaded by users are hosted securely via Cloudflare Stream. Data will be retained for as long as your account is active, unless a deletion request is submitted.

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your personal data

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you

• Withdraw consent at any time (this may affect your ability to use the app)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
