What is the app about?

It is a mobile app where users upload short videos (max 60 seconds) into themed challenges and can win real cash prizes based on community ratings.

How does it work?

You upload a video during an active event. Other users rate your video using 1 to 5 crowns. The video with the most crowns wins when the event ends.

Who can join?

Anyone over the age of 18 can join. If you are under 18, you will need a parent's permission (you give your parent/guardian's email during signup).

What are events?

Events are time-limited video challenges. Each event has a start and end date, and usually a theme. Upload a video during an event and that video will be a part of that given competition, by the end of the event a video with the most crowns wins the money prize.

How often do new events start?

New events typically start at the beginning of a month. It may not apply with sponsored events. The duration of the events can differ.

How can I know which events are active?

Go to the “Events” page in the app. You will see all events with descriptions and the "active" or "inactive" indicator.

Do I need to verify my email to upload videos?

Yes. You need to verify your email in order to be able to upload videos.

Can I submit more than one video per event?
Yes, you can.

Who can rate the videos?

Only registered users with a verified email address can rate videos.

How is the winner chosen?

After the event ends, the video with the highest total crown rating wins. If there's a tie, we reserve the right to decide based on internal review. We also share the username of the winner on our social media accounts.

Can I rate my own video?

No. Self-rating is not allowed and attempts will be filtered or you may loose ClipChips for it.

What kind of videos are allowed?

Videos must be original, safe for all audiences, and follow our community guidelines. No violence, hate speech, or copied content is allowed.

What happens if I break the rules?

Depending on the severity, you may receive a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent account ban.

How are winners paid?

Winners are notified by email and receive payment via bank transfer using our Revolut Business account. You will be asked to provide your bank account details during the identity verification process. All prize payments are issued only after successful verification and may take up to 30 days to process.

How long does it take to receive a reward?

Usually within 5 business days after the event ends and verification is completed.

What are ClipChips?

ClipChips are the official virtual currency of the app. They are required to submit videos to events and unlock certain features in the app.

How can I get ClipChips?

ClipChips can only be purchased with real money. They cannot be earned, gifted, or transferred.

How much do ClipChips cost?
ClipChips are sold in bundles. For example:

• Starter Pack - GBP 4.99 - 125 Clipchips

• Creator Pack - GBP 10.49 - 275 Clipchips

• Champion Pack - GBP 14.49 - 375 Clipchips

(Prices may vary slightly depending on your region and local taxes.)

How much does it cost to upload a video?
Uploading a video to an event costs 100 ClipChips.
Once uploaded, the video is eligible for ratings and can compete for real cash prizes.

Why does the app use ClipChips instead of direct payments?
Using ClipChips allows us to:

• Make in-app purchases smoother

Can I refund unused ClipChips?

All purchases are final. ClipChips are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for real currency.

Do ClipChips expire?

No, ClipChips do not expire as long as your account is active.

How much does the subscription cost?

The plan costs £8.49 per month and gives you 200 ClipChips each month.

Is this better than buying packs?

Yes! With the subscription, you get more ClipChips for less money compared to one-time purchases. It's perfect for regular users who upload videos often.

Can I still buy ClipChips packs if I’m subscribed?

Absolutely. The subscription just gives you extra value. You can still buy additional ClipChip packs anytime if you need more.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your app store (Google Play or App Store), under your subscriptions section.

Will I lose unused ClipChips at the end of the month?

No. Your unused ClipChips roll over and stay in your account as long as your profile remains active.

Can I get a refund if I forget to cancel?

Unfortunately, subscriptions are non-refundable once the monthly cycle begins. Please remember to cancel before the renewal date if you no longer wish to continue.

Why do I need to verify my email?

Verification is required to upload videos and rate others. It also helps us maintain fair competition and prevent abuse.

Where can I verify my email?

You can verify your email on the profile page in the app.

What happens if I don’t verify my email?

You won’t be able to upload videos, vote, or win prizes until verification is complete.

Why do you need my date of birth?

We use your date of birth to ensure you meet the age requirement and, if under 18, to request parental consent.

What data does the app collect about me?

Only what’s necessary to operate the app: email, username, date of birth, video uploads, and ratings. We never sell your data.

Why can’t I upload my video?

Check your internet connection, file size (max 60 sec), and make sure you are logged in and verified.
